Hüseyin Ölmez

Hello! I am Hüseyin Ölmez. I was born on 17 June 1987 in Sincan, Ankara. After finishing primary school, middle school and high school in Sincan, I moved to the Cebeci district of Ankara. I then graduated with a four-year degree in business administration from Dumlupınar University in Kütahya. After that I finished my military service and started my first job by opening a white goods shop.

In 2013 I closed that business and opened shops selling costume jewellery and accessories. During this time I was doing piercings with a gun, until a close friend who is an operating-theatre nurse told me that using a gun is not healthy, that I should do piercings properly, and that I was talented in every field. After a short training from her, in 2014 I took my first step into the piercing industry.

I loved this work very much and received wonderful feedback from my clients. This feedback made me more committed to the profession. On their advice, and because I was eager, I became curious about tattooing too. In my free time I taught myself, and in 2017 I entered this new branch of the industry.

In 2020 I opened the tattoo and piercing studio on Ankara Bahçelievler 7th Street, the first step towards my dreams. What I love most about this industry is that there is no end to learning and to working styles, and that it always creates new excitement with new styles.

It is a wonderful feeling that what you do will stay on people’s bodies for life, and it is also a different pleasure to do it properly, in line with professional ethics, and earn money from work you love. As long as there are people without tattoos or piercings, we will keep bringing to life the designs of you, our very valued clients.

We, at Black Ink Art Tattoo Piercing, are a group of passionate artists who believe that tattooing is an artistic expression. Founded in 2014, our studio aims to give new meaning to the world of tattooing and to offer our clients unique and lasting works of art.

Black Ink Art is run by a team of experienced tattoo artists. Each of us believes that a tattoo is not just a body decoration but also a way of personal expression. We strive to understand the unique story of every client and to convey that story permanently onto the skin.

In our studio we provide an environment that meets the highest hygiene standards. Our clients’ health and safety come first. The equipment we use is state-of-the-art, and we attach great importance to our sterilisation processes.
