Privacy Notice (KVKK)

Under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), Black Ink Art Tattoo Piercing ("Black Ink Art", "the Studio") processes your personal data as data controller, within the scope set out below.

1. Data Controller

Black Ink Art Tattoo Piercing operates at Yukarı Bahçelievler Mah. Aşkabat Cad. (Eski 7. Cad) No: 47/2, Çankaya/Ankara. You can send any request concerning your personal data to black_inkart@hotmail.com. Website privacy policy

2. Personal Data We Process

  • Identity and contact details (full name, phone, email)
  • Appointment and service history
  • Health declaration information (allergies, skin conditions, pregnancy and so on — taken verbally for safe practice only; no separate health record is kept)
  • Information you send us via WhatsApp through the booking form (full name, preferred date and time, the service you are requesting, and any notes you add)
  • Messages sent through the contact form on the website

3. Purposes of Processing

  • Scheduling appointments and delivering the service safely
  • Responding to customer requests and questions
  • Meeting our legal obligations

4. Legal Basis

Your personal data is processed under Article 5/2 of the KVKK, on the grounds that it is directly related to the formation or performance of a contract, and on the basis of legitimate interest.

5. Data Transfers

The booking form on this site writes to no database. The details you fill in are sent to us through your own WhatsApp app when you press send. The content of your booking request is therefore processed by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., the provider of WhatsApp, under its own privacy policy, and may be transferred to the countries where its servers are located. If you would rather not use WhatsApp, you can also book by phone, by email, or by coming to the studio in person.

The message you send through the contact form is delivered, via our hosting provider Hostinger, to the studio's mailbox (Microsoft Outlook/Hotmail); the site does not keep it in a database. Your data is never shared with or sold to third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Your Rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to: learn whether your personal data is being processed; request information about it if so; learn the purpose of processing; know the third parties inside or outside Turkey to whom it has been transferred; request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate; request its erasure or destruction; and object to its processing.
