Age & Consent Policy
Tattoos and piercings are body modifications with permanent or long-lasting effects. For that reason, our studio applies the following rules on age and consent.
Age Limit
As a rule, we do not tattoo or pierce anyone under 18. Age is verified with photo ID before any procedure.
The only exception is the consent of a parent or legal guardian. For a customer under 18 to be worked on, every one of the following conditions must be met:
- The parent or legal guardian must be physically present in the studio during the procedure. Consent given by phone or text message is not accepted.
- The guardian's ID and a document proving their relationship to the child (a civil registry extract or equivalent) must be presented.
- The guardian signs the informed consent form on the child's behalf.
- The child must want the procedure themselves. If we see any reluctance, we will not go ahead.
Even with a guardian's consent, we reserve the right to refuse — we will turn down any request we consider unsuitable because of the permanence of the design, its placement, the child's age, or their state of health.
Informed Consent
Every customer gives written consent confirming they have been informed about the procedure, its possible risks and the aftercare involved. Depending on the procedure, the consent form also includes health declaration questions — allergies, pregnancy, chronic conditions, blood-thinning medication and so on.
Health Declaration
In cases such as pregnancy, breastfeeding, uncontrolled diabetes, blood clotting disorders, serious skin conditions, or immunosuppressive treatment, we may postpone the procedure for your safety or ask you to consult a medical professional first.
Alcohol and Drug Use
We will not carry out any procedure on a customer who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
